The first thing you should do is prepare a small bowl of warm water and add a few drops of dish detergent.  With ease, move your die cast toy up and down in the water without swishing the water from side to side or too fast and taking chances on breaking essential parts.diecast

The next step is to wipe your toy with an extremely soft cloth and if you can still see any dirt or dust particles, then you can run it under warm tap water, just assure that the force of the water in very simple and will not break the toy.  You may also want to turn the toy sideways to rinse the inside if the die cast collectible, if possible, to remove all dirt, dust, and left over soap residue.

To dry the toy, you can softly blot at the toy, carefully ensuring not to snag any important parts that may end up breaking off.  Then sit the toy on a towel and let dry.  If you prefer, you may use a simple blow dryer or fan to help accelerate the drying process.

This will complete the cleaning process, although, you may want to wax or polish the die cast toy to ensure further protection.  This cleaning process and protection process will keep your die cast collectible toy in good condition for many years to come and adding the value of the toy, simply because you learned how to clean your die cast collectible toy, and kept up with it as well.
