When you think of collectible toy banks from Buddy L, you think trucks. That is mainly because the truck toy banks were the most popular. In fact, Buddy L was so popular that they first started off as the Moline Pressed Steel Company in 1910 and in the 1920’s began manufacturing toy trucks and cars with the trade name as the Buddy “L” and are still in operation today. The name has changed a few times and now operates under the name of Buddy L Toy Company. The company was founded by Fred A. Lundahl and the name Buddy L came from the name of Lundahl’s child.

The collectible toy banks from Buddy L were very popular because they not only fun and entertaining for children, but parents also loved the fact that children were nearly forced and taught how to save their money. The motto behind it was, if you want something, you have to save your money. Most of the toys only took about a penny to function in the 1910’s and 1920’s, but that was a lot of money for the time, especially for children and their small allowances.

These collectible toy banks from Buddy L are fairly easy to find in today’s market, though the collectibles from the 1910’s through the 1940’s are somewhat difficult. Pristine condition is essential for value among collectors and many are in this spectacular condition. You will not generally find Buddy L toy banks at collectors exhibits due to the fact of their low demand, though a handful of collectors do take pride in the different styles of Buddy L collectible toy banks, and are hoping on the fact that the value will rise in the forthcoming future, and they have a good collection, and got it at a very reasonable price.

Most everyone wants to know the value of antique collectibles that they have. Whether it be little knick knacks, things you admire, can’t live without, even things that make you wonder why you have them in the first place.

Say you have inherited a 1930s Mickey Mouse plush doll; it is only natural to be a little bit curious on what it is worth. The best way to learn about your antiques and the items you collect is to do some research on the manufacturer. Aside that, you will learn more about your prize piece, how much hard work went into making it, plus all about the artist who made it.

The most common ways to find out about your precious collectable toy is to carefully examine the toy for any notes on date by the manufacturer or maker. If the toy came in the original packaging, examine it very carefully.

The next step would be to take photos of your toy, record any markings or flaws that you discover. Look for information about the type of toy you have at a local bookstore or at a library.

Search at local stores or antique dealers that specialize in antique toys. If they don’t know, they may have some information on people who do.

Lastly, broaden your search online. Look for other examples of your particular toy. Don’t be afraid to contact any sellers or buyers of similar items to help you get better information on the value of our toy.

Ultimately, your toy is worth what someone will give for it. Every collector is different and has different types of collections so to simply ask a collector or appraiser wouldn’t necessarily be efficient but rather a collector that really wants that collectible toy. There are magazines and books on many different collectibles that can be purchased that will teach you the many things to look for when trying to figure out how to find the value of your toy.

Has anyone purchased the Disney High School Musical 3, Senior Year East High School Playset?

If so, how big is it and is it good quality? Would you say it is comparable to the Hannah Montana Beach house?? I am looking to purchase this for my soon-to-be 6 yr old, but don't want to waste the money if it is "chinsy"...Thanks to all!!
I should be a little more clear, this is the High school musical PLAYSET....it's like a "barbie house"..not an album or movie. A toy....thank you though.

IT IS THE WORST ALBUM I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!!!!>:(
HONESTLY, it's a good movie like its prequels, but I would not recommend for anyone to buy this album. To me, it seems like they just put together runover tracks.... I'M KIDDING, The albums OK, literally for a six-year-old.

Where and when are organized Disney Pin Trading at Disneyland?

Where and when are organized in Disney Pin Trading Disneyland? I know you can talk with cast members and visitors to the park, but where and what time the events took place within Park?

I know of no organized event that happens every day I know that the next event is April 17 and a night of Commerce Pin. I know some people will gather on earth tomorrow Little Green Men Store and sit around with no pins, but not organized. Sometimes there is a guy who is sitting on the main road through the Grand California and still has many books on the bolts, but not always there. To trade with cast members all you have to do it to them if you use a safety line and ask to see the pins are cast members to do more throughout the Disneyland Resort. Stuck in Lego Star Wars II?

I played the whole game through, but when I tried to find the mini kit in the episode IV, Chapter 1, I can not figure out how to get the Mini Kit to appear hidden. I'm going to Disney land in a few weeks, and I have some pins that I had a cord that you can trade and purchase. if I put the lanyard pins with them and someone approaches me and wants to trade, then, do I have to change one of my pins with them? or I can say no??

You do not have to trade pins with other guests unless you want. You can, however, trade with the cast members use laces pin. You can only negotiate pins that are not already in the cast member of lace, and wearing green cords can only trade with children 3-12 years all the other cast members can trade with anyone. In addition, the cast members can not reject trade unless the cast member already has the PIN you want to trade or if the pin you want to trade is not a Disney pin. You can only operate up to two pins for each member of the cast per day.
